Punjab puts solar tubewell programme on hold pending review

Lahore: Punjab’s subsidy of solar tubewell solar plates is pending according to the senior official statement that was stated on Saturday.

Current situation is that the program is pending as the provincial agriculture department is checking the programme’s framework due to the feedback received before. Under observation is now the program of subsidy of solar plates for tubewells. Once all the precautions and checks are completed then the process of provision of solar tubewell will be continued Said Secretary of the Provisional Energy Department Dr Naeed Rauf when they was addressing the News on Saturday.

The Energy Department is asking for a good amount of cost for the installation of solar tubewells, he said. Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif started the subsidy before and verifications  for house solar plates were being completed by the Halqa Patwaris of concerned Patwar Circles. As logins were created for inspections of the applicants but that was for Home Solar Plates as that verifications done then this verifications will process the same.

According to these subsidies these are good initiatives by Maryam Nawaz all steps are good and processed in very quite impressive and professional ways. The Agriculture Minister instructed concerned officials to make it a top priority process. 

In this scheme 8000 diesel and electricity powered tube wells will be converted to solar power, also providing a good relief to the farmers by reducing diesel costs and electricity bills.  The Minister noted that the technical team surveyed and designed solar panels and other materials took time to make good quality and good health. Also he claimed that the subsidy programme work is progressing from time to time.
